I30 East Lane Closures

TXDOT will be closing the eastbound lanes of IH-30 west of Zion Road beginning at 8:00 PM Friday, September 30 through 4 AM Sunday, October 2. Traffic will be detoured to the eastbound frontage road at the Zion Road exit (Exit 61) and will return to IH-30 at the entrance ramp east of Bass Pro Drive. This is due to due to 190 construction & will cause significant delays.

To avoid long delays on Friday evening though 4am Sunday consider another route. Coming from Dallas you might want to take 190 George Bush Turnpike east to Hwy78 Go north on Hwy 78, go past Hwy 205 to Hwy 6, go right (east) on Hwy 6 till it dead ends at Hwy 66. Take a right (south) on Hwy 66 for a short distance then take a left on FM 1565. FM 1565 will take you to DKC on your left.

I-30 will reopen at 4am Sunday. This means there will be No delays of any kind on Sunday, only Friday evening and Saturday
