The Southwest Regional Cup Series would like to welcome aboard the following new sponsors in 2010!
Ribtect
We all know, wear and love our Ribtect vests, chest protectors and seats. In addition to supporting our series Ribtect owner and Texas resident Robby Mott is also racing with us this year! Robby, an IKF Regional and Grand National champion, raced in the Florida Winter Tour earlier this year and has already won a direct transfer spot to the 2010 Rotax World Finals which will be held at La Conca, Italy in November. Robby is looking forward to racing in the Rotax Masters class to keep his driving skills well honed in preparation of the big event!
The Kart Shop
The Kart Shop owners Kevin Adds and Mike Jones are also racing in the SWRC Rotax Challenge Series this year. Mike Jones has won multiple IKF Grand National, TAG Sr World Final and SWRC Regional champiionship titles in addition to his most recent 2009 SKUSA Supernational championship title. Mike will be racing in the Stock Shifter class and Kevin in DD2 Masters. Mike and Kevin will be providing track support at all of the SWRC events to put you on the podium too.
Glasson Racing
Cole Glasson is the 2nd place 2009 SWRC Rotax MIni Max champion and 2nd place 2008 SWRC TAG Gazelle champion. Glasson Racing has partnered with Kids Racing For Kids to help raise money for local kid's charities. Tim Glasson is contributing $400 to a local charity for each SWRC event weekend. The SWRC series hopes to match Tim's doantion at each event and you can help by making a $5 donation either during the online registration process or in person at the track. You can also donate by purchasing 50/50 tickets at each event, fifty percent of the proceeeds of the 50/50 drawing will go to the KRFK foundation. KAM Karting Supply
KAM Karting Supply has been supporting racers in Texas for 13 years. They are an an authorized Rotax Service Center and have a full inventory or parts. They are located in Rhome Texas and look forward to serving your needs at the track.
