The following is a press release from Rotax reversing the weight change in the DD2 Masters class.

Rotax Competitors  USRMC and Pan American Rotax Series

The recent decision to modify the weight published weight for the DD 2 Masters class in both the USRMC and Pan American Rotax Challenge has been reversed.  The reasoning behind the original idea was to match the International weight set by Rotax, Austria.  After some communication with USRMC and Pan American supporters of the DD 2 Masters class it was determined that the season has started in both series and a change at this time would be counterproductive.  For the remainder of the 2010 season the weight of 415lbs will be official at the Pan American Challenge and the USRMC Grand Nationals.
